Rice Ruby Phyllis (nee Martin) Formly of Cormack August 8th,1929- May 3rd,2012

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Rice announce her passing on Thursday, May 3rd,2012 at the South Shore Villa in Crapaud, PEI. in her 82nd year. She will be sadly missed by children Iris Upshall, Pratt (Sheila) Rice, Glenda (Robert) Warren, and Imelda (Wylie) Gillingham.Her grandchildren Oral (Amanda) Upshall, Rob (Sandra) Upshall, Jonathan (Krystal) Rice, Tristan Rice, Vanessa (Troy) Hunter, Penny (Ed) Carter. Her great-grandchildren Daniel, Joshua, Aaron Upshall, Jessica Rice, Amber & Dennis, Austin, Emily Rose and James. Sister Rowena (Kenneth) Saunders, brothers Earl (Edna) Martin, and Harvey Martin. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, brothers Baxter & Frank and son-in-law Ron Upshall. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Tuesday, May 8th,2012 from 10-12noon, where also the funeral service will take place at 2:00pm. with interment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, Deer Lake.
